Irish Pub • Lakeland, Florida
"Good friends, great pints, and the finest craic since 1996."
Est. 1996
In 1996, Gerry and Molly McHugh cashed in their life savings and — against everyone's advice — opened an Irish pub in downtown Lakeland when most people thought a business there was career suicide. Gerry saw what others didn't. He fell in love with this city, and Lakeland fell in love right back. What started as one family's dream became the spark that ignited downtown's nightlife.
Today, their son Jack McHugh carries on the tradition, keeping the pints cold, the music live, and the welcome just as warm as the day the doors first opened. Whether you're settling in for a quiet Guinness after work, rallying the team for Wednesday night trivia, or dancing to live music on the weekend — there's always a seat and a smile waiting.
We're not just a bar. We're your local. Family-owned and operated since 1996.

Our Founder
From a dairy farm in Galway to the heart of downtown Lakeland — Gerry McHugh left Ireland at twenty, fell in love with this city, and opened these doors on March 15, 1996. His warmth, his work ethic, and his dream built more than a pub. He helped build a community.
